This project replaced 12 low-rise rental apartment buildings with a purpose-built mid-rise rental apartment, along with two new mid-rise condominium buildings with a shared lobby and amenity area. The rear lane was redeveloped as a mews-like hub for all site-related vehicular traffic.
Blending in with existing fabric of the Bathurst neighbourhood, Viva exemplified a responsible approach to urban intensification.
Scope of Work:
Management and coordination of the building design, building permit applications, construction, dealing with TARION, preparing condominium documentation, sales and marketing. Negotiated with the City of Toronto and received approval to be included in their Let’s Build Program for Affordable Housing.
